Your crush (who you’re planning to seduce later, let’s be honest) wants sushi. You, on the other hand, crave Korean BBQ. Before you start arm wrestling, or worse, settling for some horrendous 12-inch sub, make a beeline for New Generation Grill Fusion at Bloor and Bathurst.
While known for all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ ($14.95), their Bento Box ($8.95) is beyond bountiful. This Japanese/Korean feast includes miso soup, a big portion of chicken or beef dripping in barbeque heaven, three spring rolls, seasoned white rice, and a surprise vegetable side dish. And when you think your stomach couldn’t handle another bite, the server scoops you some complimentary mango or green tea ice cream. Who said you both weren’t getting lucky tonight?
For the truly starved: an all-you-can-eat lunch special from 11:30 am – 4:30 pm for $8.95.
