Mix and Match: 69 Vintage

Vintage clothing is perfect for adding a touch of character to an outfit and individuality to mainstream style. It’s that effortlessly fabulous Sienna Miller look, and that little edge Kate Bosworth always seems to add to her classic CK uniform. And wearing vintage guarantees that you won’t run into another girl with the same look, which is simply brilliant.

Check out 69 Vintage, located on Queen West in the heart of Toronto’s funkiest fashion district. Compared to other vintage shops in and around Ossington, 69 Vintage is refreshingly organized, well-maintained, and constantly turning over “new” stock. They carry an array of men’s and women’s wear, accessories, footwear, and specialty goods including leathers and furs.

If you’d rather buy your secondhand clothing by the pound, head down to the recently opened 69 Collective, an even brighter and larger space in the Landsdowne area. Rummage through their racks, and start mixing and matching.
