Vintage Fit For A Queen

By ANNA SHUR-WILSON

If you think you need a rainy-day fund to fulfill your dreams of vintage Chanel power suits, think twice and put away the piggy bank. You can finally afford an outfit that would make Coco herself proud, via a local online boutique. La Maison Regal Vintage was started by native Montrealer Dee Truong a little over a year ago when, after moving into a downtown studio with her boyfriend and business partner Thomas Funck, she found herself out of closet space. In need of breathing room, she put some of her own fabulous wardrobe up for sale on Etsy – and the rest is history. Now Dee scours the city to offer you a dynamic but still wearable collection of unique finds: the coolest heels, sweetest dresses and most outrageous coats you’ve ever seen. It’s like raiding the perfect closet, but for keeps.

Say goodbye to fruitless couture hunting. Regular vintage pieces are priced between $20 and $40, and the meticulously-kept upscale products go for a (relative) song. If that’s not enough to get you hooked, check out their newest feature online: every day, a new item goes on sale for $20. And if you’d rather see the clothes in person, you can arrange to come by her house and take a look.

All hail Regal Vintage!
