All dolled up but nowhere to go – because of your cash flow? Spend your night grazing at Macaroni Bar, an exciting spot on the Main where creative irony goes hand-in-hand with eats that won’t break the bank.
Our favourite thing about Macaroni Bar is their vast selection of amusing starters. Ordering a few of these and sharing with friends is certainly more fun than chowing down on a single large plate for the entire evening. Each dish is crafted with wit, humour, and of course, fabulously bold flavours. The braised pork belly lollipops ($9) will make you reconsider the beauty of food on a stick. Another dish with an injection of classic Macaroni Bar irony is the gnocchi poutine ($11) – which actually makes perfect sense, if you think about it. Round off your meal with the Nutella pizza ($10 for two) and call it an almost-perfect night out.
Why almost? Because after eating, be ready to dance off those calories with a live DJ Wednesdays through Saturdays. Now that’s why we call Macaroni Bar seriously fun.
