After a wild night of classy debauchery, you need a brunch spot that’s going to make sure that hangover is way the heck over. For greasy spoon grub that won’t leave you feeling greasy, visit The Bloordale Pantry.
This recently opened modern diner is the cutest place we’ve been to in a while. With checkered floors, red plush booths, and retro lighting, how can you not fall in love? Beyond the eye-pleasing aesthetic, this Landsdowne addition promises non-supermodel portions with no barista-tude. And boy, do they deliver.
These portions are not for the faint of stomach. Our faves include The Classic Benny with peameal bacon and perfectly seasoned potato hash ($11.99) and the traditional Bacon & Eggs ($6.99). If you’re a vegetarian, swap out the bacon for delectable fried tomatoes. Even the toast deserves mention – hey, marble rye goes a long way. Finicky eaters, there’s even something for you. Order a plateful of Vegan Pancakes; they’re oatmeal chocolate chip, made with soy milk, and served with maple syrup and fruit ($8.99). It doesn’t get tastier than this.
So for a brunch that’ll take care of your morning after, check the Pantry.
