The holiday season is upon us, and just like every year, there’s certain people on your list who are more than impossible to shop for. Before you walk into busy shopping malls, why don’t you try a little crawling instead?
This year for the first time ever, the Urban Craft Market has put together the Ottawa Craft Crawl. Imagine a pub crawl that makes Mama proud. That’s right, one without the beer (or the nasty hangover!).
Pick up a passport at your first show and get it stamped at all the other ones for a chance to win some great handmade prizes in December. Along the way, you’ll find handmade items like recycled jewelery, gourmet food, natural body products, and even some home decor. From the adorable earrings at the urbanitejewelry table, to the delicious mustard made by Janie & Pamalamas, there really is something for everyone on your list.
We’re halfway through the crawl, but there are still four more chances to get your craft on. The most difficult part will be resisting the urge to buy it all for yourself.
OK, maybe just one item for yourself is allowed. Per show, that is.
